What types of seals do you offer?

We offer 3 types of seals: 

  • Short Lip PTFE Seals (for reciprocating service in housing-mounted applications) 
  • Symmetrical Lip PTFE Seals (for rotary or reciprocating service in housing- or piston-mounted applications) 
  • Single Point Contact Lip PTFE Seals (for rotary service in housing-mounted applications)

Are your seals compatible with my media?

A:

Our PTFE seals are compatible with a wide range of media. Please visit product pages to see respective media compatibility.

Can I get a custom seal made?

A:

To request custom seals, please submit your request on our Design Request page.

Q:

How do I install the seals?

A:

Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and free of debrisPress the seal into the groove until it is fully seated, taking care not to over press the sealBe careful not to scratch seal during installation, as this can compromise its sealing integrity.

Shipping Information

How will my order ship?

All ReadyTek orders ship through FedEx. We offer overnight, 2-day, and ground shipping.

Can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, a shipping confirmation with tracking information will be emailed to you.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship within the United States.

Q:

What is the normal lead time?

A:

Once an order is placed, it will take 2-3 business days to ship.

Sales Tax

Do you charge sales tax?

A:

Yes, sales tax will be charged at time of purchase. The sales tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to or fulfilled from.

Do you accept sales tax exemptions?

Warranty

Q:

What is the warranty on your products?

A:

ReadyTek warrants that Products sold here under shall be of merchantable quality and shall conform to our standard specifications for such Product, and manufactured to the required specifications for such Product. Upon payment of the purchase price, Buyer will receive good title to such Products free from any lien or encumbrance.

WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.

Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy for breach of warranty or contract shall be the repair or replacement of defective Product, or, at Company’s option, to refund the purchase price; provided (1) Product has not been altered, damaged, or modified; (2) Product has been properly stored, installed, maintained, and operated; (3) Product has not been stored more than 6 months; and (4) Buyer promptly notifies Company of any defect, and returns Product to us within 45 days of notice of defect, freight prepaid. Defective Product replaced by us shall become the property of the Company. Repaired or replacement Product will be shipped to Buyer F.O.B. Buyer’s facility. Product not found defective shall be shipped back to Buyer F.O.B. Seller’s facility.

Q:

What is the duration of the warranty?

A:

The customer must notify ReadyTek of any defect, and return the product to us within 45 days of notice of defect.

Returns

Q:

What is your return policy?

A:

All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition.

Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be charged for all returns.

Q:

When can I expect my refund?

A:

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
